As a child, I LOVED history and dreamed about writing books. I thought being an author was the ultimate profession. I could imagine nothing more thrilling than having other people read a book I had written. However, I got sidetracked and became an Army wife, a mother, an elementary school teacher, an archaeologist, and an historic preservation consultant, all before publishing my first book! My first was with two other authors - a pictorial history of Marshall County, Kentucky. I knew when I held that first volume that I would never stop writing. Now in 2026, I have published 17 volumes, all dealing with that original passion - HISTORY. The history of our nation's past. The history of places, events, and families. These include five time-travel/history books for middle-grade children and three historical novels for adults. My time-travel series written for middle grade to young adult readers occupies much of my thoughts as there is so much to consider-like can dogs time travel? I have also written four books on Theodore Roosevelt's maternal line - the Bulloch family of Roswell, Georgia.
