Neil Speck is a well-tested operative for TJ Blackwell, but llike most of us he has his problems.
He draws a bold line between the gritty, real world of Blackwell Ops?the world in which he lives?and the almost fantasy world occupied by the Normals.
One thing they seem to have that he doesn't is Luck. Kismet or Fate seems to smile on them at least now and then, and as a result, sometimes at least things work out. But in his world that never seems to happen. Especially in the realm of personal relationships.
Will his luck change? Will he eventually meet a good woman with whom he wants to settle down?
As always, only the more sensitive parts of Neil's story are fictionalized. Everything else is true.
