Trevor Quinn is Deaf and a British Sign Language user. He was appointed Chair of the Cheshire Deaf Centre Board. However, he was later found dead, poisoned at the Cheshire Deaf Centre's 25th Celebration Party after someone slipped cyanide into his drink.
Mitchell, along with Rees, Jones, and a voluntary BSL interpreter, soon realises that many people hold grudges against the victim. But as more bodies start to appear, Mitchell races against time to find the murderer and uncover dangerous secrets within the deaf community!
