Lang Elliott is the original owner and founder of TriStar Pictures, Inc., and serves as president and chairman of Sunn Classic Pictures, Inc. He oversees the company's motion picture, television, and distribution content, as well as its planning, operations, and management of corporate financing. Additionally, he has also designed and currently manages the development of Sunn Classic's new studio and theme park complex under development. With over 50 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Mr. Elliott has been directly involved in more than 200 films and series. He received Academy Award nominations for "Soldier of Orange" and "The Magic of Lassie" starring James Steward and Mickey Rooney. His extensive portfolio includes producing and directing feature films which include "The Prize Fighter," and "The Private Eyes," both starring Tim Conway & Don Knotts; and "Cage" as well as "Cage II" starring Lou Ferrigno. Additional credits include "Dorf on Golf" and the "Dorf" home video series with Tim Conway: in addition to a series for the Fox Television Network entitled "Boys Will Be Boys," starring Matthew Perry. Mr. Elliott is a Vietnam Veteran and has dedicated much of his time to helping veterans by producing the annual televised awards production, "The American Veterans Award Show" (AVA) in conjunction with The Veterans Foundation, Inc. (VFI). Lang Elliott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance, a Master of Arts Degree in Finance, and a Doctorate in Finance. Elliott has also authored Sunn's new books and screenplays entitled "Cujo," and "The Devil's Amigos." Mr. Elliott's most recent film productions for 2023 are entitled "Max Patkin, The Clown Prince of Baseball" and "Ramree Island Massacre," a true World War II story. Both films are currently being released through Sunn Stream, a company affiliated with Sunn Classic Pictures, Inc.
