Lu's depression torments her relentlessly; it's only because of her cat Susi that she manages to hang on at all. Suddenly, the severely unstable angel Toni and the demon and hipster fan Clemens appear as Lu's guardian spirits, and a battle against literally all-encompassing abysses begins. Lu accidentally marries Satan, Susi battles otherworldly bureaucracy, Toni even ascends to the meta-level, and the socially critical asshole artist Lucifer appears just in time for the world-devouring bang.
