Some loves can never die.
Within the decaying halls of House Nocevic, Lord Konstantin keeps vigil for a wife long buried, his nights haunted by echoes that speak in her voice and shadows that take her shape. The ancient estate has begun to warp beneath the weight of his ruinous devotion: corridors twisting, mirrors lying, the very air suffused with his grief.
The manor is no longer safe. Most of the lord's servants have either fled or perished. The grounds have grown wild. And in the night, the dark leans close and whispers her name:
Anneliese.
An enigmatic physician arrives at the old house to excise the otherworldly affliction which has taken root there, only to find that the unravelling lord no longer seeks salvation.
It should come as no surprise that the past does not lie still. What was wrought in desperation cannot be undone. Nor can it be forgiven.
