She came to his estate needing a job, a roof, something steady for once in her life. What she found was a man who looked at her like he already knew how she would sound when he finally broke her patience.

He never hid what he wanted. The interview lasted ten minutes before his hand closed around her wrist and he told her exactly which room would be hers, and exactly which bed he would be using once the staff slept. The salary was generous. The nondisclosure agreement was specific. The terms were simple: her body, her compliance, her fertile years, all placed in his care until he had what he needed from her.

She signed anyway.

Now the days belong to his schedule and the nights belong to his hands, his mouth, the relentless focus with which he tracks her cycle and times his presence in her bed. Someone else wants his estate, his name, the empire that requires an heir.
