I live in Colorado Springs at the foot of Pikes Peak, but my heart still belongs to Scarborough, Maine, where my family settled generations ago and where I grew up on beaches and farms. I hold a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Maine with concentrations in art and child and adolescent psychology. Over the years, I've taught kindergarten through 12th grade-mostly in Christian schools-while my husband served in pastoral and interim ministries across several states. Now settled in Colorado, I teach art part-time and enjoy traveling, reading, horseback riding, and time with my children and grandchildren.
