Herbert C. Pope Jr. is retired after over twenty-five years of working worldwide in the oil field, both on land and offshore rigs. He worked up from being a rig mechanic to chief engineer and consultant in the oil field and was able to accomplish this with a four-year education from the United States Coast Guard.
The above picture was taken in the walled city of Diyarbakir, Turkey.
He was raised by his father who was a commercial fisherman out of Florida, who shifted to working as an engineer for offshore rigs and tugboats, and mother whose family was 100% Cajun from Louisiana.
This book contains all recipes from Herbert's imagination, which the reader can personalize as well to their own liking.
