Understanding God and His attributes is vital to developing a relationship with Him. Attributes of God on F.I.R.E. delves into the true nature of God. Through fourteen chapters that each focus on one essential feature of God, Christians will come to know Him and, in turn, learn more about themselves and their worship.
To do this, the four F.I.R.E. principles are applied, each with their own unique and essential purpose:
- Familiarity?to study God from a personal and intimate perspective;
- Interpretation?to determine the intended meaning of the Word of God with the help of the Holy Spirit;
- Relationship?to examine the different aspects of the Word of God and how they fit together; and
- Employment?to consider how we are called to respond to the Bible and employ it in our lives.
