Danny Gallagher is a freelance writer, author, and Montreal Expos historian. The Tragic Story of Willie Davis is his sixteenth book and his eleventh about the Expos. He began writing in 1972 and is currently a contributor to the Toronto Star, Montreal Gazette, Postmedia Newspapers, and the Canadian Baseball Network website. He is also a member of the Players on Base committee trying to bring Major League Baseball back to Montreal. Danny lives in Oshawa, Ontario.
