Dr. Uday Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography, Bhatter College, Dantan, affiliated with Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, India. He earned his Doctoral Degree in Applied Geography from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha. His research interests encompass Urban Planning, Social and Human Geography, Applied Geomorphology, Indigenous knowledge and Hazards and Disasters, Risk Assessment and Resilience, Community Response and Environmental Issues. Dr. Chatterjee has been actively involved in editing scholarly works, including the Special Issue on Urbanism, Smart Cities, and Modelling for GeoJournal, Springer, Special issue in Global Social Welfare, Springer and Frontiers journal, Editorial Board Member of Scientific Report (Nature Portfolio) and serving as a Book Series Editor for 'Developments in Environmental Science', Elsevier, and Sustainability Solutions: An Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Nexus, Springer. His extensive research and editorial contributions highlight his commitment to advancing geographical knowledge and its applications. Currently, Dr. Chatterjee completed an international project, in collaboration with Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan funded by APN (Asia Pacific- Global Change Research, and visited Saudi Arabia for International collaboration and conference session chair and Keio University, Tokyo, Japan as a Visiting Professor.
Anitabha Ghosh is a Research Scholar at the Coastal Environmental Studies Research Center, Department of Geography, Egra S.S.B. College, Egra, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, under Vidyasagar University. He is a dedicated and accomplished academician with a rich background in Geography and Environmental Management has pursued an extensive educational journey, pursuing PhD under the supervision of Dr. Dipak Bisai, from Coastal Environmental Studies Research Center, Department of Geography, Egra S.S.B. College, under Vidyasagar University. His academic accolades include passing the UGC-NET and WBCSC SET exams multiple times, highlighting his proficiency in Geography and Environmental Science. His areas of research interest cover Applied Geomorphology, Remote Sensing and GIS, Hazard and Disaster Management, Environmental Issues, Watershed Management, Hydrological Modeling, LULC changes, Ecosystem Services, and Social and Human geography. Moreover, Anitabha has enhanced his expertise through numerous certifications in geospatial technologies, remote sensing, and programming languages.
Sujit Kumar Roy is a Researcher and Environmental Expert at the Climate Smart Agriculture Water and Management Project (CSAWMP), implemented by the Bangladesh Water Development Board with funding from the World Bank. He holds a Master of Science in Water Resource Development from the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Disaster Management from Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU). With a strong foundation in geospatial science and environmental management, Sujit has worked in various capacities including GIS Analyst, Research Assistant, and Assistant Manager (Environment) in organizations such as Plan Plus Ltd., RAiN Forum, and IWFM, BUET. His research focuses on Remote Sensing and GIS, Climate Change Impact Assessment, Soil Moisture Downscaling, Hydrological and Hydro-climatic Modeling, Environmental Hazard Mapping, and Water Resource Management.
