These seven poems and a song of freedom represent the brutal suffering of migrants from Venezuela into Trinidad and Tobago during the regimen of President Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías and his successor, President Nicolás Maduro Moros. The author lived this reality and expressed by Venezuelans living in exile. It represents the kind of life of almost 7.7 million Venezuelan migrants and refugees worldwide as of August 2023. The outflow of refugees and migrants from Venezuela is the largest displacement crisis in the world.
When a good man cry
Even death trembles in fear
The hidden truth is shown
The foundations of the world are shaken
The inferno opens his mouth
When a good man cry
The skies fall down in pain
When a good man cry
Cry, cry, cry
