Jan Schröder's Recht als Wissenschaft has quickly become a new classic on the history of legal methodology. The contributors to the present volume provide a commentary on Schröder's book by taking a critical look at its narratives and periodisations. In doing so, they attempt to inspire and lay the foundations for future research.
