Wilken Engelbrecht renewed Dutch studies in Bratislava (SK) and Olomouc (CZ). At present, he is head of the Chair of Dutch Studies in Olomouc and of the Chair for Dutch language in Lublin, Poland (KUL), both as Professor of Dutch Philology. His research concerns mainly the reception of Dutch and Flemish literature in Czech translation. Ton van Kalmthout is a senior researcher in literary history at the NL-Lab of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in Amsterdam and endowed professor of Dutch Literature at the Leiden University Center for the Arts in Society. He was principal investigator of the projects Circulation of Dutch Literature (CODL) and Eastbound. The distribution and reception of translations and adaptations of Dutch-language literature, 1850-1990. His research focuses on the international exchange of Dutch literature, including emigration literature. Pawel Zajas is Professor of Literary Theory and Dutch literature in the Department of Dutch and South African Studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and is research fellow of the University of Pretoria. The scope of his research is sociology of literary translation, theory of the archives and foreign cultural policy. |
