Former misfit and hardcore 'Of Wrath and Rune' fangirl Anissa is finally learning to come out of her shell. It's lush to finally find her people, someone to make outrageous costumes with and share links to wild fanfics.

So when filming for OWAR moves to a local studio and Anissa wangles a work experience placement on the set of the new OWAR series, she couldn't be more excited to immerse herself in the utter fantasy of it all.

Enter Callum: an upcoming young actor who's causing a stir both this season, online and on set. Anissa loves the character Callum plays, but she's devastated when she gets a little too starstruck the first time they meet, and Callum writes her off as a thirsty, obsessive fangirl from his Instagram comment section. This is not how meeting the man behind her comfort character was supposed to go!

But as the two begin to spend more time together, and Callum opens up to Anissa about his newfound stardom, so she starts to realise that sometimes getting lost in the fantasy isn't always as wonderful as what's waiting for you in reality . . .
