It's not about me is a testimonial to the human condition. Just walking through life is not enough to secure one's place in history. At some point, it must become apparent that the true test of a person's character is defined by how much one individual is willing to sacrifice for their fellow beings. To look past the wellness and secure mediocrity of one's surroundings and pay heed to the less fortunate. Notice people who are pushed beyond society's limits, desperately clinging to one single nerve like a tightrope. We all must ask ourselves, are you willing to step into harm's way for the goodness of another's survival?

Bill Shaw is just such a man. Able to take notice of the ugliness that the human species is capable of and say enough is enough. I will not allow this degradation to curse the lives of forgotten, hopeless, hapless, homeless, and tortured women. Not on my watch! I will smite this evil perpetrated by so-called proper, pompous, profitable men who absolve themselves in the suffering of others. I do this if only the fact that it is not about me!
