Antobam loses his mum right after being given birth. The nurse, a family member who has evil eyes sees the bright future of the child. She conjures and retrieves the child's destiny spiritually and eventually transfers it to her sister. Antobam is given to his auntie to nurture meanwhile the auntie has evil eyes. Antobam grows old and his father one day whispers into ears that he would entrust his entire cocoa farm to his care. His wife, who is also possessed and has two children hears the message and is discontented. Together with other family members who have evil eyes, they vow to destroy Antobam completely so that the woman's children will inherit the cocoa farm instead of Antobam. They torment the boy and his father in diverse ways which makes Antobam's father succumb. Later, Antobam secures a visa to further his education in Canada. The witches contrive an aeroplane from the stem of a plantain and flies in the air to destroy the boy in his new destination. Upon reaching Cairo, something remarkable happens.
