Bullied and often left to his own devices, Aaron is just looking for a place to belong. But what he finds in THE TABLE is a dynamic yet dangerous mythical world mirroring our own. A torrential rain washes the ten-year-old through an underground passage and into a community of enormous dragons, brawny dwarves, minotaurs, fairies, and exactly one giant. As if it were always meant to be, that giant and his dragonkin family take Aaron in as one of their own. But not everyone is so trusting of humans. The hunt is on for the rumored human intruder to The Table, and the fire-breathing Blackwings are closing in. To protect his newfound sense of home and to make it back to the overworld safely, Aaron must discover his real power within.
