Ten normal teenagers, five boys, five girls, have reached the end of their school years at the night of the College Prom. Ten eighteen-year-old youngsters with notions of where they might go and what they will become as they are getting ready to face the real world. From the gorgeous, Simeon, to the no-hoper, Scott; the Ice Queen, Alesia, and the vacant, Sylvia; they live only for that moment. But fifteen years later, and this disparate group are now scattered into the lives they never imagined. Some have fled to the far corners of the earth, never likely to be seen or heard of again. Others have suffered the pain inflicted on them by life. There were romances, love triangles and disappointments. And as the story unfolds, these lives are brought back together until they are once again connected to each other, but not in the way any of them envisaged all those years ago at the night of the College Prom.
