A detailed history of witchcraft in England, from its earliest records through to the twentieth century.
First published in 1937, this history of witchcraft was written by English clergyman and author, Montague Summers. He wrote various books on the occult during his lifetime and was well-known for his studies on vampires, witches, and werewolves.
This volume is separated into two parts:
- English Witchcraft from the Beginning until the Repeal of the Law, 1736
- English Witchcraft from the Passing of the Statute of 1736 until the Present Day
