A near-fatal car accident leaves an unconscious young woman on the doorstep of farmer John in the Amish town of Lancaster. But when she finally awakens, it is with no memory of who she is or where she came from. Karen as she calls herself, has no identity; the only clue to her circumstances is a recurring nightmare of crows swarming her vehicle. With the help of John and his sister Lovina, Karen tries to solve the mystery of her own identity and the mysterious accident that brought her to their door. But nothing could prepare her for the threats that have followed her into the Amish town. From the hills of Lancaster to the hostile streets of Philadelphia, Karen looks for clues about her identity as she is hunted by an unknown assailant with murderous intentions.
