An Egyptian archaeologist, novelist, and writer, he holds a bachelor's degree in ancient Egyptian antiquities from the Faculty of Archeology at Cairo University, and master's and doctoral degrees in ancient Egyptian antiquities and the history and archeology of the ancient Near East at Johns Hopkins University in the United States of America. He now holds the position of director of the Antiquities Museum at Alexandria University, and supervisor. At the Dr. Zahi Hawass Center for Egyptology at the Library of Alexandria. He has a large number of well-known books, scientific articles, novels and stories in the field of archaeology internationally and locally.
