Margaret Brown worked as a public school teacher while raising her three children, while her spouse was an officer in the U.S.Navy. She studied up on 504 Plans and IEPs to become a successful advocate for her children, while some of time being harrassed by certain educational professionals for knowing too much. However, Margaret did whatever was necessary to help her children and to insure they had a future, one they can be proud of.
