Our goal is to help children become informed and engaged citizens who can help make the world a better place. Our books go beyond reporting on typical facts. They teach children about the broader world and the impacts their individual and collective actions have.Part of educating children to become informed citizens means making them aware of social issues to help them understand the world they are set to inherit. We hope that by informing children about these issues, we can inspire them to come up with solutions for them as they grow older. We believe in speaking to children as creative and imaginative individuals who may one day change the world. All children deserve access to information that will help them grow and thrive in a fast-changing world. Our books are available in more than 20 different languages so all children have the tools they need to better understand their world. We believe in the philosophy that you should practice what you preach. As such, Engage Books has not pulped a single book since its creation in 2008 in an effort to decrease our impact on the environment.
