Minutes after Bear gets a news-bomb dropped in his lap during breakfast, The Furry United Coalition give him a mission to Hong Kong to help a lost groundhog shifter find his way home. And maybe find academy recruits while he's there.

Maggie Lam returns home after a long day at work, wanting nothing more than a bath and a book. Instead, she finds a second chance seated in her living room, watching re-runs with her aging mother.

The little groundhog proves to be on a mission of his own. Things get a little complicated when they pursue his elusive mystery chicken, digging up their past in the process.

Time and distance haven't been able to fully extinguish the desire between Maggie and Bear. But how can they overcome the past and get the groundhog home, as per FUC's instructions if he refuses to go until they find his chicken?
