Larry McCloskey is the author of two previous children's mysteries: Murder at Summerhouse and Tom Thomson's Last Paddle. When not running competitively, he is employed as director of Carleton University's Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities. The father of three daughters, he lives in Ottawa, Ontario.
