Haven't you always wanted to know what the world would look like if animals were allowed to talk, and we, as humans, were now able to understand them? What would happen? What would they say? How would Humans react to what they said? All these questions I sought to answer in this highly imaginative and entertaining novella. The first part of this story was designed to contrast between a simple house cat and her human mother, and what was happening in the outside world. The second half of the story deals with worldwide implications.
This story, in concept, is both scary, yet intriguing. On one hand, I would love to be able to talk to birds, and animals as they went about their daily life. Can you imagine what the older species would say? Could you imagine what we could learn from fish, swimming deep in the oceans? Or wise, strong Elephants as they traversed the terrain? Or simply the minute machinations of the inner parts of the earth from insects and bugs who creep and burrow deep within? Yet on the other hand, would we want to hear the raw truth of what they might think about us? How we have thus treated them so far? How we currently live and use the resources on this planet?
I think this story should prove quite entertaining.
