Aurora is a curious young "kid" goat who lives in Farmer Cherry's goat house. Her twin brother, Andrew, tries to help her. Farmer Cherry is a father figure who helps guide all the animals in the process of growing up. Farmer Cherry sees to their physical and emotional needs.

Aurora loves life, but one unusual day presents some problems for Aurora. She has not learned about how to play with others and solve problems. She stumbles into a serious situation. Fortunately, just in time, Aurora learns how to work together so that everyone stays safe.
