John Gemmer's latest novel about the dauntless FBI agent, Frank Giordano, takes the reader inside the mind of a psychopathic serial killer. The stories of the murderer and zealous detective intertwine as the hunter of female victims is hunted by Frank and his teammates in the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit. Why "Michael" became a serial killer unfolds as his family background and psychology are revealed. But understanding his motives makes his gruesome deeds no less chilling. Fortunately, there are good cops, like Agent Giordano, on the case. But even the best investigator, and reader, will be surprised by the twists and turns the story takes as Giordano chases the trail of a sadistic killer.
