The Elf King of Alfheim's got some explaining to do.

No town needs the violent problems caused by werewolves, vampires, and witches. They feed on good people. They're unrepentantly dark. And according to the other Elven Courts, Arne Odinsson has allowed too many, for too long, to live in his domain.

When the Elf Emperor calls an international conclave and threatens to strip Arne of his kingship, Alfheim's residents have no choice but to defend themselves.

With control of Alfheim riding on the quality of Arne's witnesses, he sends Frank Victorsson and alpha werewolf Remy Geroux to Las Vegas to track down a reformed succubus helped by the elves centuries ago. But when Frank unwittingly offers his services to a trickster god, he and Remy must navigate not only angry spirits and elven politics, but also a horde worse than vampires-cosplayers.

Because what would best disguise a court of elven law? The world's largest international cosplay gathering, of course.
