Anna has been a dutiful, loyal and obedient daughter until her interest in the women's suffrage movement is awoken. She is forced to grow up quickly when tragedy strikes at a rally and her beloved friend Lily is knocked down by a motorcar and killed. Anna suspects it is no accident, and she must uncover the truth and find justice for her friend.
